A good time was enjoyed by all who attended the first Style Party held in Kruses Road last Friday evening.
We had drinks and nibbles and everyone had a good old natter about clothes, dressing up, fashions etc.
I took the opportunity to explain the work of a Personal Stylist to everyone and most of the ladies agreed it would be a good idea to have one camped out in their wardrobes for use as and when!!
The Style Personality quiz followed and came up with a few surprises – one thing is for sure, we don’t always appear to be what we really are. This gave much food for thought and generated a new round of chatter.
Nobody forgot to bring their items for discussion on suitability or not and we had some fun discussing whether the jacket colour was right, what top to get to finish an outfit, and a hundred ways to tie a shawl amongst other things (check out http://www.greatestlook.com/tyingscarves2.html).
The evening ended with exchanges of info about where to shop for what you want and for the best bargains.
